Practical help and support

Your local local Action for Blind People team (RNIB Group) can help you get the support you need. Services include job search and IT help, training courses, support for parents, family events and information for teachers.

For local events see our Events Noticeboard.

Trying and buying products

Our products can help you live more independently.

Drop in to an Action for Blind People resource centre (RNIB group) for sales, advice and to try products before you buy.

We stock symbol canes, eye shields, reading devices, cooking equipment, big button phones, games and computer equipment.

Visit our Online Shop to browse, search and buy from our full range for delivery straight to your door.

Low Vision Days

RNIB has organised some roadshow-based Low Vision Days in various places around the country. These are new and are aimed at local clubs and organisations sharing what they can offer you in each community.

On top of that, we'll be giving you the chance to see some of the latest products to help you keep living independent lives. A handful of stands will be at each event and will vary depending on which event you go to.

The events listings can keep you up to date on when and where these roadshows are happening.
