Why sponsor a Talking Book?
When you lose your sight, you feel like you lose everything. At this devastating time, RNIB Talking Books are a lifeline. They don't just bring back the joy and escapism of a good book; they really do give people back their independence and a sense of connection to the world.
If you decide to bring a book to life for people with sight loss by sponsoring the production of an entire Talking Book, valued at £500 and above, as a token of gratitude we will record a personalised dedication as provided by you, at the start of the book. You can choose a book from our shortlist of Talking Book titles. Your book will then be read by thousands of people with sight loss, for many years to come.
How do I sponsor a Talking Book?
It costs from £500 or £1,000 to sponsor a RNIB Talking Book, which will help us pay to annotate, narrate, and produce a brand new title for our library. You can choose a book from our shortlist of Talking Book titles and have your own dedication recorded at the start.
