We help people living with sight lossLiving

No one should be uncomfortable or at risk of getting hurt in their own home. Our six regional housing co-ordinators give invaluable help to those living with sight loss. They provide one-to-one assistance with domestic and accommodation issues of every kind, allowing people to feel safe and comfortable in their own homes. Sign up for Living updates now.

We help build confidence and independenceLearning

Having a sight loss problem shouldn't be a barrier to learning, an education or getting a job. Our employment advisors build strong links with local employers and give specialist advice to people living with sight loss. We run residential schools and colleges, and organise training, ensuring that blind and partially sighted children don't miss out on future opportunities. Sign up for Learning updates now.

RNIB provides a world of accessible booksReading

Just 7 per cent of all books are available in braille, audio and large print, including titles available in these formats using eBooks. It's unacceptable that blind and partially sighted people are missing out. We help blind and partially sighted people discover a new world of reading. Blind and partially sighted children and young people face many challenges in life. Our Actionnaires clubs offer opportunities that blind and partially sighted children may not otherwise have experienced, from confidence building and making friends, to having a go at activities that they may never have previously dreamed of.
