Manchester City Football Club

Being selected by Manchester City Football Club as Charity of the Year will allow Action for Blind People and RNIB to continue providing opportunities for blind and partially sighted children in the Greater Manchester area.

Supporting our Actionnaires

The generous financial gift of £25,500 will support the Manchester Actionnaires club in running two events a month for 14 months starting in April 2012.

Our Actionnaires clubs provide young blind and partially sighted children and their siblings, with opportunities to participate in a range of social, sporting and leisure activities to help promote independence, build self-esteem, develop self-confidence and be part of the local community.

It is an exciting opportunity to work with such an exceptional sporting organisation, especially in the lead up to the Olympics.

Manchester City Football Club is truly committed to championing the work of Action for Blind People and RNIB by showing their valued support for this vital service.
