Support Group Host - Female

We need friendly female volunteers to help host our Peer Support Group attended by women who are blind or partially sighted. This will involve offering practical support, as well as encouraging and supporting them to build on their confidence. Opportunity available in Warrington.

Young People's Group Support

Are you looking to develop your skills and experience of working with young people? Volunteers are needed to offer practical help to our blind and partially sighted young people and to encourage and support them to get involved in activities and outings. The group meets once a fortnight and is run by Leeds Vision Consortium. Opportunity available in Leeds.

SOS Older People's Group Support

Are you patient and friendly with good communication skills? We are looking for volunteers to offer practical support within a group setting to older people with sight loss and dual sensory loss. The "SOS" group meet once a fortnight as a social group, and is supported by Leeds Vision Consortium (LVC). Your help will enable group members to fully participate and interact in the group activities. Opportunity available in Leeds.

Children, Young People and Families (CYF) Events and Actionnaires Volunteer

You will be assisting with a range of activities and events including sports, music, visits to attractions and crafts, supporting both the group and individuals as required. Opportunity available in Hampshire

National Library Service Customer Satisfaction Volunteer

Do you have good communication skills and are passionate about books and reading? Do you believe blind and partially sighted people should have access to the books they want and need to read? We need your help to contact National Library Service customers to make sure they are getting the most enjoyment out of the library. This role does not require a DBS Check. Opportunity available in Stockport.

Receptionist

Birmingham's John Bright Street office requires enthusiastic volunteers to greet visitors on reception, assist with a variety of enquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate person or service. Opportunity available in Birmingham

Admin Office Support

We are a small, busy team providing practical help to support blind and partially sighted people to live independently. Your administration skills, friendly telephone manner and passion will enable us to make client feedback central to the way we help, ensuring our team supports blind and partially sighted people in the best possible way. Opportunity available in Salisbury.

Benefits Form Volunteer

You will be telephoning people that have previously received assistance from our Information and Advice Team and help them complete forms relating to their claim for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). Opportunity available at RNIB Judd St, London

Children and Young People Support - Residentials

Action for Blind People are looking for volunteers to provide support to children and young people with a visual impairment, on our residentials. The residentials are an opportunity for 8-17 year olds to experience new and exciting activities, make new friends and enjoy a break away from home. We require volunteers to support the children and young people throughout the week and help the staff host a fun, safe and memorable experience.

Promotional Events Volunteer

We urgently need volunteers to support Leeds Vision Consortium (LVC) with promotional events taking place in Leeds, in order to raise awareness of sight loss issues. Opportunity available in Leeds.
