You will record a variety of text material onto CD that blind, partially sighted and /or disabled people can then access. Opportunity based at the RNIB Transcription Centre in Ivybridge.

Your community knowledge and personal initiative is vital for RNIB's future. With training and support you will develop links with Store Manager's/Heads of Store Merchandise to profitably generate income. Opportunities available across the South West region.
You must be willing to travel and be confident in front of large groups. The reason for the talk, or interview on local radio, may be for fundraising, volunteer recruitment, campaigning, information giving, marketing, or raising awareness on sight problem issues. This is an exciting training opportunity for anyone who is blind or partially sighted and is interested in the production side of media and who has an ambition to work within radio.

RNIB has a team of over 600 runners who take part in various marathons and runs throughout the year, to raise money for the RNIB. We need your help in cheering on our runners and assisting them at the post race reception where they can grab a drink and relax!
