Volunteers are involved in many activities across England. The roles can be done from home, based at an RNIB Group office or out and about in the community.

Social Activity - Kathleen Chambers House

Opportunities exist in a variety of locations for lively people to have social contact with blind or partially sighted clients. Activities may include quizzes, bingo, music, outings, reading or doing crosswords. Opportunity available Burnham on Sea

IT Specialist

Would you like to use your expertise to help blind and partially sighted people to resolve IT problems? We are looking for IT specialists to join our 'Technology Support Squad' - a national team of volunteers helping blind and partially sighted people to support their independence. Opportunity available in Brighton and Hove and the following London Boroughs of Hillingdon, Wandsworth, Richmond Upon Thames, Hammersmith and Fulham or Kensington and Chelsea.

Driver - Loughborough College

Loughborough College are seeking volunteer drivers to take learners to work placements across Leicestershire using the College minibuses.

Campaign Co-ordinator (Person with sight loss)

Campaign Co-ordinators will act as RNIB's main local contact for individuals and groups wanting to become involved in campaigning for better services or opportunities for blind or partially sighted people in their area. Opportunity available in Dorset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire and Plymouth.

Outings and Activities helper

Getting out and about can be a worrying and stressful experience for blind and partially sighted people. We need your help to ensure that they are able to join in all the activities that they would like to, going home having experienced a great holiday here in Somerset. Children, Young People and Families (CYF) Actionnaires Volunteer - Blackburn

This is a unique opportunity to work with blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families. You will be assisting with a range of CYF activities and events including sports, music, visits to attractions and crafts, supporting both the group and individuals as required.
