Admin Office Support

Edinburgh - Assist and support staff at an RNIB Edinburgh and the Lothians, or possibly at home, where the need may include using the telephone, editing and distributing letters, filing, photocopying and stocking supplies. Appropriate training is offered in all areas for a team worker. Opportunity available in Edinburgh.

Supermarket Collections - Scotland - July 2013

Scotland - We urgently require volunteers to help with Store Collections raising much needed funds for RNIB.

Audio Transcription Checker

As a natural listener with excellent attention to detail, your time and talent can help ensure that all documents transcribed by your local RNIB transcription centre are of the highest quality.

Studio Reader

Do you have a pleasant and engaging voice and the enthusiasm to help blind and partially sighted people access everything from newsletters to a favourite cookery book by digitally recording audio versions at your local RNIB transcription centre. Opportunity available in Edinburgh.

Driver - Ayrshire

Would you be interested in helping blind and partially sighted people lead independent lives? If so, RNIB Scotland requires Volunteer drivers to transport our clients to various appointments, activities, events and services within the Ayrshire area.

Driver - Glasgow

Would you be interested in helping blind and partially sighted people lead independent lives? If so, RNIB Scotland requires Volunteer drivers to transport our clients to various appointments, activities, events and services within the Glasgow area.

Driver - Arran

Would you be interested in helping blind and partially sighted people lead independent lives? If so, RNIB Scotland requires Volunteer drivers to transport our clients to various appointments, activities, events and services within the Island of Arran.

Community Sensory Volunteer

Do you speak Urdu/Hindi and/or Punjabi, Chinese or Polish languages, in addition to English and live in Edinburgh & Lothians? Are you interested in ethnic minority health issues and want to give something valuable to your community? If so, we would like your help to increase the awareness of the importance of Sensory Health - sight and hearing. Opportunity available in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Community Events Volunteer

Do you speak Urdu/Hindi and/or Punjabi, Chinese or Polish languages, in addition to English and live in Edinburgh & Lothians? Are you interested in ethnic minority health issues and want to give something valuable to your community? Gardening Support

The role involves giving clients encouragement, support and motivation to get them involved in gardening activities. You need the knowledge and qualities to assist, give advice and guide. Ultimately clients should have control over their environment so that they can continue to garden alone whenever they want to. Opportunity available in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
