Keyboard shortcut keys

For most people with sight problems the most effective way to use a computer is to control the software by using keyboard commands. These are normally found in the help files of the programs themselves, and accessing this is often the best way to learn a new program. Many software suppliers also list keystrokes for their products on their websites.

We have compiled a list of shortcuts for a number of popular programs. Each program has a separate document and is available to download in Word and PDF formats. You can view PDF files using a suitable PDF viewer, for instance Adobe Acrobat. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader software and once it is installed, the PDF file will display automatically.
