Education and learning

Having a sight problem shouldn't be a barrier to learning. We work to ensure that blind and partially sighted children and adults gain get the best out of school and college.

Parents and carers

These webpages can help support your child's school journey from early years to primary, to secondary level education and beyond. If your child has a sight problem and additional needs, read our complex needs information.

RNIB Sunshine House School and RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning (formerly Rushton School and Children's Home) offer specialist provision for children with sight loss. We also run a college of Further Education.
