RNIB Sunshine House School and Residence and The Eden Academy are delighted to present a two day practitioner workshop for professionals supporting children with learning difficulties and disabilities including sight problems.
Whether you work in specialist or mainstream education, therapies or in a more general support role, our practical workshops offer you the opportunity to brush up on your knowledge, share best practice and network with peers.
Our workshops are delivered to a high standard by specialist staff, so you can be sure that you'll come away with credible and workable solutions that you can put into ptactice.
Sessions cover topics such as movement and mobility, communication, teaching at P levels, delivering a sensory curriculum, demonstrating educational progress and overcoming challenging behaviours associated with autism.

When: Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June 2013, 9.30am to 4.30pm. Option to attend for one day only.

Who should attend: Education and therapy professionals supporting children with learning difficulties and disabilities including sight problems.
Cost: £270 per delegate for both days or £150 per delegate for one day. Prices are inclusive of VAT.

Two different workshops will run simultaneously during the morning and afternoon sessions. Delegates are required to choose one workshop from each session to attend a total of four workshops over two days (or two workshops if attending for a single day).
