Our specialist team of editors create magazines from the very best of online and high street magazine articles. Read articles about how to get the most out of your money with "Money matters" or be entertained with lively articles and recipes in "Progress". Subscribe to weekly TV and Radio guides on DAISY CD and have it delivered to your door ready for the week ahead.

DAISY audio books

Our range of DAISY audio books includes everything you'd expect to find in a library but available to buy and keep. From best-selling and classic fiction to reference books and non-fiction titles such as cookbooks, history, autobiographies and much more. DAISY CDs can be played on a standalone DAISY player or DAISY player software on your computer. Learn more about DAISY format.

BookStream book club

If like to get your books quickly and have access to the internet then you'll just love the BookStream book club . You can choose to stream up to five DAISY books simultaneously through your computer and store them on your bookshelf, or have your books delivered on CD to your door. Registration is easy and just £50 per year.

National Talking Newspapers and magazines

National Talking Newspapers and magazines has over 200 high street magazine and newspaper titles on audio CD or download audio and text files which you can listen to using text-to-speech software on your computer.

Amazon is an online shop that sells audio books on CD and as downloads.

Apple iTunes

As well as selling music, Apple sell audio books through iTunes.

Audible

Audible is on online audio book shop that offers a variety of titles to buy individually or as part of a subscrption package.

Audiobooksforfree.com

Audiobooksforfree.com is a website where you can download over 1,800 out-of-copyright audio books for free, or pay a small charge for better quality recordings. Books are read by volunteers.

Audiobook Store

AudiobookStore.com is an online source for over 100,000 audiobook titles, available in download and streaming format. A selection of classic titles originally recorded by RNIB are available to download via this store.

AudioGo

AudioGo offers audio books, short stories, radio archives, and BBC audio books on CD and as downloads.

Librivox

Librivox has over 5,100 free downloadable audio books. Volunteers read out chapters of out-of-copyright books which are made available in a number of formats.

Naxos AudioBooks

Naxos AudioBooks publishes CDs and cassettes, and also has a Download Shop offering MP3 downloads.

Shops

Most publishers sell their audio books through Audible or iTunes. Some shops, such as Waterstones or WHSmiths sell audio books on CDs in their shops as well as via their websites.

Talking Newspapers Federation

Talking Newspapers Federation website can help you find your local talking newspaper. Many offer a variety of formats including CD and USB memory sticks.

Waterstones

Waterstones sells downloadable audio books on their website and CDs in store on the high street.

Wholestory Audiobooks

Wholestory Audiobooks offers over 1,700 exclusive unabridged titles, and produces 20 new titles a month. They only sell CDs themselves, but their titles are available as download via Audible.
