Network 1000 - Survey 1

Network 1000 Survey 1 reports the findings of the first round of interviews with over 1,000 blind and partially sighted people. The report covers a wide range of topics - including housing, employment, health, leisure and money. Published 2006.

Network 1000 - Comparison report

The aim of this report is to compare the opinions and circumstances of the general population with the registered blind and partially sighted population in the UK for a number of topics. Published 2009.

Understanding the needs of blind and partially sighted people

This report was commissioned by RNIB and prepared by SSMR at the University of Surrey in May 2009. It looks at findings and recommendations to consider in the development of support services for those with sight loss. Published 2009.

Report on the certificate of vision impairment statistics 2008-9 and 2009-10. Royal National Institute of Blind People awarded Moorfields Eye Hospital a research grant to support the ongoing development of analysis of CVI data.
