Bridging the Gap
Bridging the Gap is a bilingual guide for young blind or partially sighted people aged 14 to 25 years. It outlines the support and services available to assist you through your journey from school, through further and higher education and on into employment.

Drop in surgery - 16 to 25
If you are between 16 and 25 and considering a course at college or university or maybe thinking about going in to work but need some specialist support or advice, come and see our Transitions Officer at Cardiff Enterprise Centre, City Road, Cardiff every Friday between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Work club
Live in or around Cardiff and looking for work ? Drop into our weekly work club at Cardiff Vale and Valleys, 20 Newport Road, Cardiff. We are there from 2 til 4pm every Wednesday to offer support updating CV's, applying for work and to help prepare for interviews. Get support from our Employment Advisor and meet others at the same time.
STEP Programme
We run an annual residential course for students with sight loss who are currently on a Higher Education course or have recently completed one. We aim to increase your employability by providing you with the skills and information you need to successfully make the transition from Higher Education to employment.
The week includes workshops dealing with confidence building, disclosing your sight loss at interview, information about the 'Access To Work' Scheme, and many more. We also hold mock interviews by major employers, so you can practice your new skills.
