RNIB statement on Attendance Allowance

"RNIB Cymru is extremely concerned by plans to scrap the Attendance Allowance. These plans would leave vulnerable blind and partially sighted people without vital services and not able to afford essential support services, taxis to the doctors or help with their daily living. Sight loss affects over 100,000 older people in Wales, most of whom should be able to access this essential benefit. We are urging people to sign the online petition to stop the government failing people when they are most in need of help and support."
