Peterborough Low Vision Day 2012

Due to popular demand, we held a third Peterborough Low Vision Day at The Voyager Academy, Peterborough on Wednesday 4 April 2012.

The free, one-day event welcomed just over 200 visitors who are connected to or experiencing sight loss. We had 32 exhibition stands with some really key seminar sessions based around eBooks, Apple gadgets, handheld sat nav/GPS devices and some really easy-to-grasp talking software for your computer. All received great feedback and many went home full of inspiration to try out these gadgets for themselves.
