Connect Albinism Information Events

The next Connect Albinism information and networking event in Northern Ireland will be held on Saturday 25 May at Jordanstown School, Newtownabbey. The previously postponed event in Derry/Lderry, will now be held on Saturday 28 September at the RNIB NI office on Strand Road, Derry/Lderry.

RNIB NI Launches New Premises and Projects in North West

24 February saw the official launch of RNIB NI's new premises in Derry/Londonderry and flagship project, the Sensory Engagement Programme [SEP].The launch showcased the new resource centre which aims to provide blind and partially sighted people with the most up to date daily living aids and equipment.

MLAs Get Connected

This page details an event held in Belfast involving blind and partially sighted people meeting with local MLA's and councillors. The event was to highlight the importance of RNIB's Right to Read campaign, information in accessible formats and the call for hospital appointments, test results, prescriptions, electoral info and education material to be made accessible.
