Sensory Engagement Programme (SEP)

We're working to improve engagement levels and consumer confidence of people with sensory disabilities.

The Sensory Engagement Project (SEP) is an inter-regional project and therefore will cover a number of cross border areas with particular focus in Donegal/Derry/Londonderry and Dundalk/Newry.

Throughout the three year duration of the project, over 300 sensory disabled people and 600 service provider staff will receive training and support to improve and increase service provision, also raising awareness of sensory disabilities.

RNIB NI information day

On Tuesday May 10 2011 the Sensory Engagement Programme, led by the Royal National Institute of Blind People held an information day at the Ryandale Inn, Moy, with input from the Southern Area HSCT (Health and Social Care Trust), SRC (Southern Regional College), Libraries NI and Conservation Volunteers NI (Green Gym).
