RNIB NI, Embassy Building, 3 Strand Road, Derry/Londonderry
BT48 7BH.
Technology is one area making a real difference everyday to the lives of blind and partially sighted people - whether it be a mobile phone for staying connected with friends and family, audio description at a football match for not missing that controversial dive in the penalty box, an eBook in an instant for whiling away a few hours with a good story or a handheld GPS system for finding your own way.
RNIB NI will be running a taster event through the Sensory Engagement Programme, providing blind and partially sighted people with an opportunity to realise the life benefits of new technology.
There will be three two hour workshops.
