TELL is our short-term loan scheme for schools. The scheme enables a student with a visual impairment to try using an item of technology over a short period (six to eight weeks) so they and their teachers can evaluate its effectiveness in an educational setting.
The scheme is not intended to replace any statutory responsibility on schools to provide necessary equipment, but it does enable them to assess the most appropriate piece of equipment prior to purchase.
Loan Equipment
A range of the latest equipment is available through the loan scheme, including hand-held and desktop video magnifiers, screen-reading technology, screen-magnification technology and braille technology.
