Going through an exciting period of growth and development, RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning is looking to recruit to its expanding team.
As a sessional social care worker, you will assist in providing social care for children and young people with complex needs and sight loss at RNIB Pears Centre Children's Home.
Experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with disabilities, is of benefit although not essential, as full training will be provided. Just be fun to be with, have good problem solving skills, patience and enthusiasm
The work will be requested as needed and will involve shifts that span the full 24 hour period, seven days of the week.
You will work to the high standard expected by RNIB and legislative requirements and must be aged over 22 in compliance with the Children's Home National Minimum Standards.
