Going through an exciting period of growth and development, RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning is looking to recruit to its expanding team.
Supporting children and young people with complex needs and sight loss is as challenging and physically demanding as it is truly rewarding.
You don't need qualifications to join us as we will help you achieve these; you just need to be fun to be with, have good problem solving skills, patience and enthusiasm and be able to work shift hours on a roster basis.
Based within the Children's Home, you will work with the wider team to provide personal and social care support for children and young people with complex needs and sight loss in their home.
Following the young people's individual care plan you will enable them to lead full lives and develop their independence towards adulthood.
You will work to the high standard expected by RNIB and legislative requirements and must be aged over 22 in compliance with the Children's Home National Minimum Standards.
