RNIB Sunshine House School hosts bonfire launch party

WHAT: Staff host a bonfire party spectacular to celebrate new collaboration with neighboring Grangewood School

RNIB Sunshine House School will be hosting a bonfire spectacular to officially launch its innovative new collaboration with neighboring Grangewood School.

The celebratory event will feature a range of fun activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, games and cooking, and will culminate in an exciting fireworks display at the end of the day, which is expected to be attended by over 250 people.

Sunshine House offers specialist education and care for children aged two to 11 who have sight loss and multiple disabilities, and has recently announced it will be sharing resources with special school Grangewood, to maximize care and facilities offered to pupils.

Executive Head, John Ayres commented:

"This is such an exciting time for everyone at RNIB Sunshine House School, and we really wanted to mark our new collaboration with a fun and exciting event that could involve everyone in the local community. We are very much looking forward to the Bonfire party, and we're sure a great time will be had by all!"
