Nick Mason, who has worked for RNIB for the past year, is not new to the role having acted up to the post for the past six months.
Nick brings an impressive combination of professional and academic credentials. He has 15 years experience leading data analysis projects and teams, the last seven of which have been in the third sector.

Nick said: "I'm very pleased to be offered the role - RNIB has a wonderful heritage and a great reputation for being at the forefront of fundraising. These are exciting and rapidly moving times for fundraising, and so strategic thinking and innovation are even more important than usual. I look forward to the challenges ahead."
Wanda Hamilton, RNIB Group Director of Fundraising, said: "Nick has already proved a significant asset to our Fundraising team and I'm certain he will continue this excellent work. He has a great track record in fundraising and I'm sure he will bring energy and vigour to the role."
Nick was educated at Oxford University and Cass Business School, and holds the fundraising industry qualification MInstF (cert).
