Who: Nicky Morgan MP will inaugurate a five feet post at the town's railway station, decorated with tiles designed and made by blind or partially students from RNIB College Loughborough. Dignitaries from Charnwood Borough Council together with
Lesley-Anne Alexander CBE, RNIB's Chief Executive and students from the College will also be there to see its official unveiling.

When: Friday 12th October, 2012 at 10.30am
What: The decorative post consists of 48 ceramic tiles and are based on four themes; trains, Loughborough and its manufacturing heritage, college life and sport. The tiles have been in production for over a year from the design process through to the manufacture, all of which has been done by the students.
The post is situated in the station's forecourt and will be seen by thousands of people each year. The College was invited to design the post as part of the station's recent regeneration.
RNIB College Loughborough supports adults with sight loss who are committed to securing employment through skills training, job search support, job coaching, mentoring and planned work placements.
