The race is run on the Silverstone F1 racetrack. It is a 3-lap race and is very flat. The Silverstone Half Marathon is therefore a great opportunity for anyone chasing a personal best time.
It is a popular race, run round the Silverstone racetrack. Many runners also use it as a training race prior to the London Marathon.
On the day race details
The race starts at 12pm, so make sure you get there in plenty of time to get yourself settled. There'll be changing rooms, drop off points for your kit bag and places to get food.
Along the route each mile will be marked along with a clock, so you can check your time along the run. They'll be regular drink stations offering Buxton water and Lucozade sport drinks, and toilets on the course.
