We have plenty of campaign resources for you to use, to help you campaign for change locally and nationally. There are also lots of opportunities to join our team and campaign for change
Join our Campaigns Supporter Network and get all the up to date campaign news and information through our enewsletter.
We have over 400 key campaigners who commit to taking campaign actions at least three times a year. We’ll get in touch about a campaign and offer a choice of actions for you to take, depending on how much time you can spare.
We have over 70 VCCs who adopt a more hands-on role and work alongside our Regional Campaigns Officers. VCCs fight for improvements to local services and also support our national campaigns. We offer training and provide opportunities for you to engage with other people with sight loss. We’ll work with you on campaign strategy and make sure you can reach decision makers. Look on the volunteering section of our website for campaigning roles, or contact us directly.
Our How to campaign guides offer a great starting point for anyone wanting to campaign for issues locally or nationally.
Our national campaign resources include briefings, toolkits and guides, allowing you to understand and support our national goals.
Our Who put that there! campaign toolkits enable you to campaign for change on some of the most common local problems faced by blind and partially sighted people. Issues covered include A-boards, cars on pavements, road crossings, shared spaces, street furniture, wheelie bins, accessible information, bus transport and retail problems.
Our Key campaigner resources provide our network of Key Campaigners with vital information on taking action and contacting the team. Not a Key Campaigner already? Find out how to join the network and achieve change for blind and partially sighted people.
