Self-Employment Survey

As part of the ongoing drive to help visually impaired people into work, a small group is considering the issues and challenges that can make life difficult when it comes to setting up your own business. If you are self-employed or in the process of setting up as self-employed, please feel free to visit the link below and complete the short survey. It shouldn't take long.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick, thanks for sharing, ill share the survey link via the next Connected bulletin and will also get it put onto our involvement section, called Play your Part. Hopefully it will reach a few more readers.
Both of these are also sent via email, print, braille and audio including being put on the telephone information line.

HI Nick, another quick question, do you know who the group is that's asking these questions?

The questioners are from the Working Age Group (WAG). And the WAG is in a period of flux at the moment due to the RNIB re-organisation so it's difficult to be more specific.

Hello Claire/Lucy,

Thanks for the feedback. I have asked the question and will gat back with any answer that comes my way. In the meantime, all I can say is that RNIB seems to have lost its way big time in the recent restructures and we are told that nobody knows how things will pan out. So whether we get an answer or not is anyone's guess.

Hi again Claire/Lucy,

The above link does in fact appear to be working. Not sure whether it was a temporary fault somewhere or maybe something on your computers is blocking it. But I just got in without a hitch.

Hi Nick, I filled it in a while ago anyway but tried the link when Claire said it wasn’t working. Yes it’s back up now, must have been a temporary glitch
