See the Funny Side

See the Funny Side is a comedy event where you can learn how to put together a 5 minute Stand-Up Comedy Routine and perform it to a live audience.

Week 1 – 3rd February 2018 - 11am to 2pm
Comedian Georgie Morrell (Poke In The Eye, BBC Radio 4 Jayne Lake) will deliver a workshop on how to put together a stand-up comedy routine. Lunch will be provided after the session.

Week 2 – 10th February 2018 – 2pm to 4pm (Doors open at 1.30pm)
You will perform your comedy routine to a live audience.

Both events will be held at Old Joint Stock, 4 Temple Row West, Birmingham, B2 5NY

How to Apply
To apply you must be:

- Blind or Partially Sighted
- 16 years old or older
- Live in the West Midlands
- Be available on 3rd and 10th February 2018

Applications close on 14th January 2018. Successful applicants will be notified the week commencing 15th January 2018. Places are limited.

If you are selected to be a part of See The Funny Side you will receive up to £10 a week towards travel. You must provide us with receipts.
