Losing your sight can affect every area of your life. Often compared to bereavement, it can involve loss and change in so many areas of your life: your self esteem, relationships, leisure, work, mobility and independence can suffer.
It can be incredibly distressing. Your help can provide effective, timely, regional and personalised support for the thousands of Britons who lose their sight every year.
This is just one element of the work we do. RNIB aims to end the isolation of sight loss. Together we can work towards a world in which sight loss need not be an obstacle to ambition and achievement.
