You are invited to come and join us at one of the supporter receptions we hold across the UK.
These special events give us the chance to tell you more about our vital work, to thank you for your support and to demonstrate how, together, we are making a real difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
Learn what happens at a supporter reception
At a reception you will find out how you could become more involved with our work. You will learn about the latest developments in our services and hear directly from key staff about the inspiring and innovative projects happening in your area. The services you'll hear about at receptions will vary from location to location but may include RNIB National Library Service (including Talking Books), audio description, products for everyday living and campaigning.

Find out what our supporters have to say
Many people find the receptions useful and leave with a wealth of knowledge;
"I really enjoyed the day - great speakers, nice venue and it was really good to be able to see and touch the useful products they had on show."
Tina Snow - Isle of Wight reception
"I came along to say thank you for the work you do and to find out how I can do some fundraising to help."
Lee Rider - Cheshunt reception
"I was registered partially sighted recently and it's a different world I've entered. Everything is new and learning today about all the different aspects of your work will help me along the way." Richard Eastleigh - Torquay reception
