A brighter future

We always love to hear why our supporters chose to a leave a legacy gift to RNIB. Whatever the reason is, the generous support you give us is helping us to build a brighter future and change people's lives. The difference your support makes

We received a letter from Allan Scott, the son of one of our late supporters. "My father, Leonard Scott, lost the greater part of his sight late in his life through macular degeneration. Len loved his RNIB talking books and was also a great writer. He won two RNIB short story competitions and one RNIB poetry competition - and wrote the epilogue to his last novel, on his computer, just three days before his death.

Len went on as many RNIB literary holidays as he could, making many friends with whom he kept in touch via the internet (a skill RNIB had encouraged and helped him to develop). I hope his legacy gift will help to continue the magnificent work you do for the blind and visually impaired. Thank you for all you did to help my father."

Anyone interested to learn more about Len story is warmly invited to visit the memorial website dedicated to Len's life.
