On 9 and 10 December 2013 the Eye Pod was exhibited at the Cross Campus of South Essex College of Further and Higher Education as part of a disability awareness week organised by the Sensory Support Team.

The event was a great success and more than 435 visitors including staff and students were able to view simulations of the four most common causes of sight loss and learn more about eye health and RNIB's services.
