A new 'Cars off pavements' campaign, with strong support from local MPs, Councillors and a number of residents groups, is being launched in Leicestershire. We will be working closely with the County Council and the police to deter drivers from parking inconsiderately. The campaign is due to be piloted in Loughborough over the next few months, and, if successful, rolled out throughout the Charnwood Borough and hopefully the whole of Leicestershire. We have also joined forces with a Leicestershire wide campaign to stop people parking and blocking drop curbs.
