Talking ATM Trial

Anne Rigby our Volunteer Campaign Coordinator in Chester was one of a number of blind and partially sighted people who recently trialled Barclays new talking cash machines at their test centre in Cheshire.

Participants in the trial were asked to carry out tasks such as withdrawing cash, checking their balance, and changing a pin number.

They were able to give very useful feedback on ways the new speech software could be improved before it is introduced nationally. We will continue to work with Barclays to ensure these improvements are made.
