The Eye Pod sight loss simulator arrived in Kent on Thursday 19 July giving local residents and councillors the chance to learn about what it's like to develop the four most common eye conditions, Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Glaucoma, Cataracts and Diabetic Retinopathy.
Staff from Kent Association for the Blind helped out at the event and support was also provided by RNIB Volunteer Campaign Coordinator Neville Butteriss and Eye Health Ambassador Cllr. Amanda Hodgkinson.
