The first meeting of the New Street Station forum took place and was attended by representatives from different organisations working with blind and partially sighted people in the region and local campaigners and individuals.
It's aim was to gather suggestions as to what measures Network Rail and the Gateway Team can put in place to support blind and partially sighted people before and during phase one of the station redevelopment.
Rebecca Swift, our Regional Campaigns Officer for the West Midlands will continue to work with the Gateway Team at the project to ensure that this information is fed back to them and that measures suggested are implemented.
