Volunteer campaigners in the West Midlands have been putting their questions directly to Ed Milliband. The question and answer session, organised by Birmingham Mail newspaper, gave local campaigners Sharon Gibbs and Mike Hughes the chance to quiz the Labour leader about barriers to employment for blind and partially sighted people.
Following media coverage of the Q&A session, a local MP invited the campaigners to put together a document concerning the different barriers to employment. This will then be submitted to Mr Milliband to further expand on the issues that were raised at the event.
