Education and young people

We campaign to make sure blind and partially sighted young people and children have the same rights and opportunities as their sighted contemporaries. But we can't do this alone. We want to work alongside young campaigners to bring fresh ideas and energy into our campaigns that tackle the issues that matter to them.

If you're a young person who wants to get involved, or if you're interested in issues around education and youth for blind and partially sighted people, help us to shape our plans for a new young person's network.

It's also worth taking a look at the young people's section of the RNIB website for further ways people can get together and share experiences.

Influencing the Children and Families Bill

The Government plan to change the support provided to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. This has to meet the needs of blind and partially sighted pupils.
