Hardest Hit 2012

Disabled people, those with long-term conditions and their families are being hit hard by cuts to the benefits and services they need to live their lives.

The Hardest Hit campaign, organised jointly by the Disability Benefits Consortium (DBC) and the UK Disabled People's Council, brings together individuals and organisations to send a clear message to the Government: stop these cuts now.

Hardest Hit 2012 week of action

The Hardest Hit 2012 week of action started with the October 20th march for a better future through the streets of London. Around 100 disabled people joined 100,000 others to call on the Government to rethink their cuts to vital services and benefits.

Over the following week, Hardest Hit events happened throughout the country with blind and partially sighted people joining with other disabled people to confront local MPs and policy makers over the cuts. For more information baout what happened in the week please visit The Hardest Hit website
