Your guide to challenging unfair cuts

A guide to local action

This guide is here to help you if you are concerned about or have experienced cuts in local service provision. 2012/13 is going to be another challenging year so RNIB Campaigns has produced this guide to help you decide what to do in the event you experience cuts to services or closures.

What does the guide include?

We've put together all the information we think you'll need to get a campaign started in your area including:

  • Examples of where campaigning has worked
  • How to use the Equality Act 2010 in a campaign
  • How to approach your local council
  • Our hints and tips for a succesful campaign
  • Where to go next

Get in touch

If you're concerned about a cut to local service provision, and you've got some ideas, but after reading the guide you're still not sure where to start, contact your RNIB Regional Campaigns Officer. Email campaigns@rnib.org.uk and we'll put you in touch.
