China is a country immersed in history, mythology and ancient traditions. Highlights of the challenge include the Great Wall, Black Dragon Paw Park, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The trek is all about beauty, culture, people and above all a real physical and mental challenge. Each day you will face a new challenge - climbing a set of 400 steps in one go; conquering 1200 more at sunrise and tackling unrestored sections of the wall which are just two metres wide!
Stretching over 8,000 kilometres, the Great Wall is a man-made phenomenon that dominates the landscape and leaves a lasting impression on all who go there; making it one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Join Team RNIB and take on this breathtaking challenge and relive the footsteps of the Ming Dynasty this year!
"The challenge and the experience are all so much more than you imagine. Truly amazing!" - Ian Jenkins MBE, 65, Kent

Why fundraise for RNIB?
Every day 100 people in the UK start losing their sight. RNIB gives people who have lost their sight vital support to help them find their lives again. Right now RNIB can only reach one in three of the people who need our help the most. Join Team RNIB and help us reach them all.
