Reading for RNIB in the classroom

Schools up and down the country are reading and raising a tonne for RNIB this Winter!

This is ranging from Read-aloud-athons to Come as a Character events and Reading Relays.

We even had 20 school children join RNIB at Waterstones, Piccadilly in our successful Reading Relay World Record attempt. Where we read a piece by children's author Anthony Horowitz.

Stuck for ideas? Pupils at Buttsbury Billericay, Essex held a Reading Relay with a twist. They chose a book to read aloud and then passed it on to the next class. Year Six started off the relay and great fun was had by all.

So why not get involved and register to Read for RNIB today?

RNIB are helping people who have lost their sight find their lives again.

Right now we can only reach one in three of the people who need us. Help someone start a new chapter in life.
