Fazilet is registered blind. Seeking a new challenge, she started to run with her good friends Alison and Becca last summer.
Here she explains in her own words what it was like:
"Alison and Becca were generous enough to be my guide runners and we had the most fantastic fun every Sunday morning.
As a blind person, it's normally very difficult for me to move fast, so it's been wonderful to be able run safely through the Hertfordshire countryside amid the changing seasons."

Fazilet completed the Bupa London 10,000 on Sunday 27 May and has raised over £2,000 for RNIB.
