1. Devilish decorations
String cobwebs all over your house, and make sure to place them across any pathway where guests will walk into them.
2. Ghoulish games
Cover a plastic bowl with a dark cloth and ask friends to place their hands inside. Let them believe they are touching brain matter (cooked spaghetti with jelly), eyeballs (peeled grapes) and blood (ketchup mixed with a little warm water).
3. Spine-chilling sounds
Pick up a few different horror-themed CDs to play during the event, or play scary movies in the background to create an atmosphere of suspense!
4. Add an ice cold touch
Pour water coloured with food colouring into a clear latex glove, secure with an elastic band and freeze. When the water has frozen, add the ghoulish hands to a punch bowl, or place in an ice bucket to keep drinks chillingly cool.
