What will you discover this half term?

When Alice went through the looking glass, she found everything was back to front. Step 'Through the Looking Glass' into our pop-up shop to discover bargains galore, activities to keep the kids entertained and chances to win some fabulous prizes.

Shop til you drop!

The pop-up shop is brimming with bargains from brand new and second hand books, courtesy of Walker Books, Christmas cards and gifts, and the opportunity to get your hands on some unique and bespoke art. We have something for everyone; at prices to suit all pockets including freestyle machine embroidery by Sue Barker - On the Wild Side. There will also be fabulous limited edition prints of Industrial Landscapes by Devonian artist Paul Mitchell, and nostalgia in the form of 1930's prints of illustrated children's nursery rhymes and stories.

Keep the kids entertained over the half term

There will be loads of free activities for children of all ages to enjoy; explore the senses with our free sensory activities, try to crack the code with our Guide to Braille or pick up your complementary Maisy Mouse and Where's Wally activity sheets.

Bargains aside there will be competitions galore from a lucky dip to a chance to win £50 worth of audio books from AudioGo or a family pass for Beatrix Potter's House.
