Man Booker longlist for everyone

The Man Booker Longlist is now out!

RNIB is delighted to announce that for the first time ever the entire Man Booker Prize longlist will be produced in braille and giant print.

Man Booker Prize 2011 - the most accessible prize yet

Thanks to the support of the Booker Prize Foundation and the Man Group plc Charitable Trust, RNIB has produced braille, giant print and Talking Books of the shortlisted titles for a number of years. And now, with a generous contribution from an anonymous donor, RNIB is able to produce the 12 longlist titles in accessible formats too.

The Man Booker Prize was the first book prize to introduce a clause in their rules stating that publishers of longlisted books must provide an electronic file to RNIB to aid production of their books in accessible formats.

RNIB would like to thank the Booker Prize Foundation and the Man Group plc Charitable Trust for their fantastic commitment to blind and partially sighted people's right to read.
