Spring cleaning time - we need your recycling!

Recycle your household goods this Spring for RNIB!

Spring is finally here and we are loving the warmth of the sun. Getting rid of old junk and having a clear-out at this time of year is a great way to feel revitalised and happy. But did you know that by having a clear-out, you could be helping RNIB too?

We can recycle lots of your household items, including:

If you have nothing to clear out, why not take on an RNIB charity collection box for the coppers and pennies you don't want to carry around in your wallet?

Sell unusual items on eBay

We recently sold an old Chesterfield style chair here at RNIB HQ, which belonged to a former Chief Executive. Putting the item up with a starting price of £10, we eventually sold the chair to a very happy customer for £396! We've also sold speakers, a magnifying glass and a backgammon set.

So, if you can't recycle your items, why not consider selling more unusual purchases on eBay for Charity and sharing the profits with RNIB? You can choose to donate between 10 per cent and 100 per cent of your sale.
