So, what are your New Year's resolutions? And more importantly, are you sticking to them? It is easy to set resolutions, but we all know it's a lot harder to actually keep them. With our help you can set realistic fitness goals and achieve them.
Set yourself a goal
You need to set a realistic challenge, that with help, you will be able to achieve. Having something to strive for will boost you into action and keep you motivated. Make it a realistic goal. We cannot promise you the body of Beyonce or abs like Daniel Craig but if you follow our training plans you will be able to complete a half marathon, or improve your half marathon time by the Spring.
We have guaranteed entry places in the adidas Silverstone Half Marathon and the Mizuno Reading Half Marathon. Both events are on fast flat courses, and we can offer you 16 week training plans to get you from zero to half marathon in time for Spring.
Work outs don't need to be long to be beneficial. Our training partners Full Potential offer all RNIB runners free bespoke training plans that can fit around your festive plans.
Get your friends involved
People complain about January because its cold, dark, your festive credit card spending has just come in and payday seems far, far away. But it doesn't need to be this way!
Getting fitter and completing a race will be a fantastic achievement. As you get fitter, you will have more energy and confidence. Yes it will still be cold and dark, but you will be healthier and running is both free and fun. Why not get your friends to run with you?
