Have a grand day out

Have a grand day out at one of our supporter receptions

Whether it's a castle, a racecourse, a museum or a stately home we're offering you a grand day out at a choice of unique locations across the UK.

As well as seeing these special venues at first hand, you'll have the opportunity to meet new people, have a chat and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

All this whilst learning more about the unique services and support we offer to blind and partially sighted people. Our services are unique because we know that no two people with sight loss have the same needs.

"I've learned such a lot, I feel quite inspired."

"Great in every way. Speakers excellent and attitudes A1. Great to be with others who support RNIB, good to experience the power of RNIB in determination to help the blind. Our sight is valuable and RNIB is such a vitally necessary good cause."

Ms Scott, attendee at The Woodbrooke Study Centre, Birmingham

"Thank you for inviting me and a friend to Torquay museum. We found it most interesting and constructive - all most cordial - lunch delicious. What would we do without you RNIB. Many thanks."

Mrs J Betty Mansell

"I found the speakers very informative, covering the huge range of services and products that RNIB provides and it was a really really good day. The venue was very accessible and RNIB staff were very helpful. It was great to see the range of products RNIB has because you can read about them but it's much nicer to get a chance to feel and try them out."

Tina Snow and guide dog Noushka, attendee at Lakeside Hotel, Isle of Wight.

You can make a difference

The work described at receptions and the wider work that RNIB does is hugely dependent upon the generosity of thousands of people, many of whom choose to remember RNIB in their Will.

Writing your Will is the only way to protect the people you care about and ensure your wishes will be followed after you die.

Once loved ones are taken care of, a gift to RNIB could make an incredible difference to thousands of lives. A third of our work supporting blind and partially sighted people is only possible because of legacy gifts.
