It was interesting to see Fireman Sam is still a favourite with children and the Character Fireman Sam Deluxe Fire Station Playset is set to be a big Christmas seller this year. Other golden oldies included Sylvanian families Motorcycle and Sidecar and the classic Monopoly board game - though the game is looking increasingly out of touch with London's high house prices!
The Kidizoom VideoCam, VTech (pink) - also available in blue - stays on the list from last year as do walking, talking, toy pets - with FurReal Friends Gogo My Walking Pup.
